...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in 
Indiana...

  Big Raccoon Creek...Big Walnut Creek...Buck Creek...Driftwood 
  River...East Fork White River...Eel River...Fall Creek...
  Muscatatuck River...Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...White Lick 
  Creek...White River...Youngs Creek...


.Heavy rain last night and early this morning in excess of 2 to 3
inches swelled creeks and rivers across much of central and southern
Indiana. This has led to new flooding in several areas and a
continuation or extension in areas already impacted. Additional
rainfall tonight through Monday night, some possibly heavy, will
likely cause further flood problems.


Precautionary and Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  19, 2013 at this level water surrounded several residences with 
  some local residences requesting water rescues because they could 
  not get out.  Local roads along Big Walnut Creek at flooded.

  remained flooded...Bluebluff at Morgan County Highway Dept. to 
  Mapleturn Rd., Paragon just past the RR tracks in Paragon to Deck 
  Rd., Lingle, Smokey and Centenary at Old Gravel Pit.  River stage 
  at Stout was 11 feet.  High water closed Tidewater & Centerton Rd 
  and Bowman Rd.

  Most of bottomlands flood.  Old Vincennes road and State Road 358 
  between Plainville and Edwardsport are impassable by several feet.
  High water surrounds river cabins.  This type of flood occurs on 
  average about once a year.

  area locally known as Dodge City.  Several small oil fields are 
  inaccessible. During agricultural season much flood damage can 
  occur.  High water isolates some river cabin residents.

  350 N in the Black Rock Perserve Area...a distance of nearly 1.5 
  miles. High water affects Fort Ouiatenon area. All parks in the 
  West Lafayette and Lafayette areas  are flooded.

  in South Lake area begins.  North Lake and Izaak Walton are now a 
  part of the Wabash River.  West Road in northern Vigo county

.Heavy rain Saturday night and early Sunday morning in excess of
2 to 3 inches swelled creeks and rivers across much of central and
southern Indiana. This has led to new flooding in several areas and a
continuation or extension in areas already impacted. Additional
rainfall tonight through Monday night, some possibly heavy, will
likely cause further flood problems.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

EXPECTED. DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

HAZARDS: HEAVY RAIN...DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS
IN THUNDERSTORMS. PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH HIGH WATER IN FLOODING.

TIMING: RIVER FLOODING ONGOING. BEST CHANCE OF SEVERE STORMS THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION: A STATIONARY FRONT AND UPPER WAVES IN NORTHWEST FLOW
WILL INTERACT WITH AN INCREASING WARM...MOIST AND UNSTABLE
ATMOSPHERE RESULTING IN SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

OUTLOOK: THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OR PARTS OF
CENTRAL INDIANA TODAY THROUGH NEXT WEEKEND. SEVERE IS POSSIBLE
TODAY THROUGH TUESDAY. WITH THE GREATEST RISK FOR WIDESPREAD
SEVERE WEATHER MONDAY. A MODERATE RISK IS IN EFFECT FOR MONDAY AND
MONDAY NIGHT. DAMAGING WINDS...HEAVY RAINFALL PRODUCING FLOODING
AND PROLIFIC LIGHTNING WILL BE MAIN THREATS FROM THESE STORM
COMPLEXES. A FEW TORNADOES AND LARGE HAIL WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE...ESPECIALLY ON MONDAY.

THE HEAT INDEX WILL RISE INTO THE UPPER 90S TO AROUND 100 DEGREES
IN THE LOWER WABASH VALLEY TODAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

DISCUSSION: A PAIR OF FRONTAL SYSTEMS ALONG WITH UPPER WAVES OF
LOW PRESSURE AROUND A SOUTHERN PLAINS DOME OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL
INTERACT WITH A WARM...MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS AND RESULT IN AN
UNSETTLED PERIOD THROUGH NEXT WEEKEND.
