...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
Indiana...
Deer Creek...Mississinewa River...Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...
White River...Wildcat Creek...
.With already elevated river levels and days of possible heavy
rainfall still in the forecast, minor to moderate flooding along
the East Fork White, Mississinewa, Tippecanoe, Wabash, and White
Rivers...and Deer and Wildcat Creeks is expected to continue.
The magnitude of flow from Oakdale Dam has not been seen since
approximately March 2009. With the additional rainfall in the
forecast through the week, flooding in some areas will continue well
into next week. Significant flooding remains a possibility as well.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

River Rd...in the Davis Ferry Rd area and Barton Beach Rd area may
leave. Low parking areas of Williamsburg Apt complex flood. CR 75
S west of CR 700 W floods. Fountain CR 500 E just north of

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
Indiana...
Deer Creek...Mississinewa River...Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...
White River...Wildcat Creek...
.With already elevated river levels and scattered showers and
thunderstorms in the forecast through the weekend, particular
across the southern half of Indiana from the remnants of Tropical
Depression Bill, minor to moderate flooding is expected to continue
in central Indiana. Southern Indiana has not seen much rain recently
so this will help combat the expected plentiful rainfall.
As of Thursday evening, the crest along the Wabash River was near
Lafayette. The river was in the moderate flood category at Americus,
Battleground, Lafayette, and Covington. Flooding along the river
will last as late as the week of the 28th.
The Tippecanoe River, feeding into the Wabash from the north, had
flooding continuing but decreasing below Oakdale Dam and at Delphi.
Crests along the White River are expected to be near flood stage,
thus impacts should be minimal.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Widespread river flooding will develop this weekend in central
Indiana. Significant flooding is now expected along the Wabash River
in the Montezuma...Clinton and Terre Haute areas in western Indiana.
Flooding will last from 1 to 3 days in parts of central Indiana to
10 or more days in southwest Indiana.
Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches fell in much of central and southern
Indiana since Thursday morning. Additional rainfall of an inch or
more is possible in southern Indiana by Saturday afternoon. Since
June 12...much of central and southern Indiana received 2 to 5 inches
of rainfall with 4 to more than 8 inches in north central Indiana.
Flooding will affect residential areas along portions of the Wabash
River...numerous roads and extensive agricultural lands throughout
Indiana and eastern Illinois.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go

.Widespread river flooding will develop or continue this weekend
across central Indiana. Significant flooding is now expected along
much of the Wabash River. Flooding will last from 1 to 3 days in
parts of central Indiana and 10 or more days in southwest
Indiana.
Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches has fallen across much of central and
southern Indiana since Thursday morning. Friday afternoon and
evening brought rainfall of at least 1 to 2 inches across most areas
of south central Indiana...with localized amounts exceeding 5 inches
in some spots. Additional rainfall up to an inch is possible late
Friday and into Saturday across north central portions of Indiana
while south central areas could see an additional two to three
inches.
Flooding will affect residential areas along portions of the Wabash
River along with numerous roads and extensive agricultural lands
throughout Indiana and eastern Illinois.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Widespread river flooding will continue this weekend in central
Indiana and much of the week of June 21 in western and southern
Indiana. Significant river flooding will occur along the Wabash River
from Covington to near Mount Carmel Illinois and portions of the East
Fork White and Muscatatuck Rivers in Jackson and Washington Counties.
The remainder of central and southern Indiana will see lowland to
extensive lowland river flooding. Flooding will last from 1 to 3 days
in central Indiana and to more than two weeks in southwest Indiana.
Early Saturday afternoon...rivers along and north of I-70 were near
crest or have crested. Less than an inch of rain fell in most of
the area along and north or I-70. As a result...flooding will end
along the White River in central Indiana and other small streams
and rivers by Monday.
The heaviest rainfall occurred in southern Indiana. Some areas
received over 5 inches of rainfall since Friday morning. Total
rainfall from Bill measured 3 to more than 7 inches since Thursday
morning. Most rivers in southern Indiana will rise sharply through
Sunday afternoon. Extensive river flooding will continue through the
week of June 21.
For the week ending June 20...considerable areas of southern and
northern Indiana received 4 to over 8 inches of rain. A few areas
saw a foot of rain. Much of Indiana was very wet on Saturday
afternoon.
Flooding will affect residential areas along portions of the Wabash
... White ... East Fork of the White and Muscatatuck Rivers along
with numerous roads and extensive agricultural lands.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.
