The river will fall below flood stage Saturday evening.
* At 16 feet...Major flooding begins. Several homes will flood
along Roxbury Drive...Rambo Court...and Mockingbird Road. Mobile
homes begin to flood along Museum Circle. Some businesses will
flood near the Flint River on Upper Riverdale Road and Arrowhead

* At 645 PM Thursday the stage was 15.9 feet...and rising.
* Moderate flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 10 feet.
* At 16 feet...Significant flooding expands further into the
woodlands and fields along the creek downstream from the Starrs
Mill Dam to Line Creek. Most of Starrs Mill Park will be under 4 to
6 feet of water. The flood waters will be hitting the bottom of the
mill. The water level will be around one foot deep over the wooden
platform where the USGS gage house is located.

occurs in the woodlands and fields along the creek downstream from
the Starrs Mill Dam to Line Creek. Most of Starrs Mill Park will be
under 3 to 5 feet of water. The flood waters will approach the
bottom of the mill and be flowing through the concrete spillway
around one foot deep. The water level will reach the top of the
wooden platform where the USGS gage house is located.

For the Flint River near Montezuma.
* Until Wednesday evening.
* At 1030 AM Sunday the stage was 22.3 feet...and rising.
* Minor flooding is occurring...and Minor flooding is forecast to
continue.
* Flood stage is 20 feet.
* The river will continue rising...reaching near 23.5 feet by
Monday morning. The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday afternoon.
* At 23 feet...Minor flooding continues in the woodlands with
extensive flooding in the flood plain along the river upstream
and downstream from the gage on Georgia Highway 26. The access
road to Georges Boat Landing will be flooded at least 3 feet
deep.

For the Chattahoochee River near Columbus.
* Until late tonight.
* At 1045 AM Sunday the stage was 27.8 feet...and nearly steady.
* Minor flooding is occurring...and Minor flooding is forecast to
continue.
* Flood stage is 27 feet.
* The river will begin to fall...dropping below flood stage this
evening.
* At 28 feet...Minor flooding continues along the river upstream
and downstream from the gage on the 14th Street bridge. Portions of
the River Walk in Columbus will be flooded around one foot deep and
closed to the public. The Phenix City Amphitheater on the Alabama
side will also begin to flood.
