GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT...

...FLOODING WILL PERSIST ACROSS MUCH OF CENTRAL AND NORTH GEORGIA...

MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL PERSIST ACROSS MUCH OF WEST
CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST GEORGIA THROUGH THE NIGHT. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL
OF 1/2 TO 1 INCH CAN BE EXPECTED...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
POSSIBLE...GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF I-85. ONGOING FLOODING OF
RIVERS...STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL CONTINUE FROM EXCESSIVE RUNOFF AND
PREVIOUSLY SATURATED SOILS ACROSS MUCH OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

IN ADDITION...DENSE FOG WILL OVERSPREAD PORTIONS OF CENTRAL
GEORGIA...GENERALLY SOUTH OF A HAMILTON TO FORSYTH TO WASHINGTON
LINE. EXPECT VISIBILITIES TO BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN 1/4 MILE AT
TIMES IN THESE AREAS WHICH WILL MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT OVERNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...

THE HEAVIEST RAIN WILL GRADUALLY PUSH NORTH OF THE AREA BY SATURDAY
BUT THERE WILL STILL BE A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS
INTO THE FIRST OF THE WEEK. SEVERAL RIVERS AND STREAMS COULD REMAIN
IN FLOOD THROUGH THIS WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
