* Impact...At 31.0 feet...Disastrous flooding reaches many homes between Bastrop
and Smithville in the Doty River, Hidden Valley and Pecan Shores subdivisions.
Roads and bridges in the flood plain are very dangerous. Livestock should be

* Moderate flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river level will rise to crest near 39.5 feet by early
afternoon on Wednesday. This is about a foot and a half above the previous
forecast crest. The river level is expected to fall below flood stage Thursday
early afternoon.
* Impact...At 40.0 feet...The lowest sites of a trailer park in La Grange in the
northwest quadrant of Highway 71 and the Colorado river are threatened. Lowest
homes in the Fritsch Auf subdivision have several feet of water in them.
Severely flooded roads and bridges near the river make travel and evacuations
dangerous..
