Warning for portions of the following rivers in central and southern
Indiana...
Big Walnut Creek...Wildcat Creek...
.Flooding will continue on small streams in central Indiana. Local
roads will flood. Some areas have received over 3 inches of
rainfall since Tuesday night. Rain tonight will prolong flooding.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

* At 17.0 feet...Major flood occurs along Big Walnut Creek. On April
19, 2013 at this level water surrounded several residences with
some local residences requesting water rescues because they could
not get out.

...A Flood Warning continues for portions of the following rivers in
central and southern Indiana...

Creek...Tippecanoe River...Wabash River...White River...Wildcat
Creek...Youngs Creek...
.Signifcant flooding will occur along the Wabash... White...East Fork
White and Muscatatuck Rivers in southern Indiana. Flood crests in
the Bedford...Williams...Shoals...Petersburg and Hazleton areas will
exceed those of December 2013 by 1 to 2 feet. This will be the
highest flood levels for these areas since late April-early May
2011. Near major flooding is possible in the Petersburg and
Hazleton areas next week.
In central Indiana widespread river flooding continued. Flood crests
in central Indiana will be lower than those experienced in December
2013. Flood crests along the Wabash River from Lafayette to Terre
Haute will be similar to those seen in January.
Flooding will last from a few days in central Indiana to more than 2
weeks in southwest Indiana. Flooding affected numerous river roads
and extensive agricultural lands and a few residential areas.
Rainfall of 3 to 7 inches had fallen across central and southern
Indiana from Tuesday night through Friday morning. The heaviest
rainfall was in southern Indiana.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

Bartholomew County on March 7 2011. Double Y Saddle Club area
extensively flooded. Water flowing over CR 950 N to Club. CR 330W
is flooded just south of its intersection with Ohio Ridge Rd. CR
500N west of CR 250W is flooded blocking vehicular access to
residences near the river bank. Lowell Public Access site is
completely flooded. Water very near several residences and
seasonal homes along CR 330W and CR 325W.

.Signifcant flooding will occur along the Wabash... White...East Fork
White and Muscatatuck Rivers in southern Indiana. Flood crests in
the Bedford...Williams...Shoals...Petersburg and Hazleton areas will
exceed those of December 2013 by 1 to 2 feet. This will be the
highest flood levels for these areas since late April-early May
2011. Near major flooding is possible in the Petersburg and
Hazleton areas next week.
In central Indiana widespread river flooding continued. Flood crests
in central Indiana will be lower than those experienced in December
2013. Flood crests along the Wabash River from Lafayette to Terre
Haute will be similar to those seen in January.
Flooding will last from a few days in central Indiana to more than 2
weeks in southwest Indiana. Flooding affected numerous river roads
and extensive agricultural lands and a few residential areas.
Rainfall of 3 to 7 inches had fallen across central and southern
Indiana from Tuesday night through Friday morning. The heaviest
rainfall was in southern Indiana.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Significant flooding will continue or occur along the
Wabash...White...East Fork White and Muscatatuck Rivers in southern
Indiana. Flood crests in the
Bedford...Williams...Shoals...Petersburg and Hazleton areas will
exceed those of December 2013 by 1 to 2 feet. This will be the
highest flood levels for these areas since late April-early May
2011. Near major flooding is possible in the Hazleton area next week.
Flood crests in central Indiana will be lower than those experienced
in December 2013. Flood crests along the Wabash River from
Lafayette to Terre Haute will be similar to those seen in January.
Flooding will last from a few days in central Indiana to more than 2
weeks in southwest Indiana. Flooding affected numerous river roads
and extensive agricultural lands and a few residential areas.
Rainfall of 3 to 7 inches had fallen across central and southern
Indiana from Tuesday night through Friday morning. The heaviest
rainfall was in southern Indiana.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.

.Significant flooding will continue or occur along the
Wabash...White...East Fork White and Muscatatuck Rivers in southern
Indiana. Flood crests in the
Bedford...Williams...Shoals...Petersburg and Hazleton areas will
exceed those of December 2013 by 1 to 2 feet. This will be the
highest flood levels for these areas since late April-early May
2011. Near major flooding is possible in the Hazleton area next week.
Flood crests in central Indiana will be lower than those experienced
in December 2013. Flood crests along the Wabash River from
Lafayette to Terre Haute will be similar to those seen in January.
Flooding will last from a few days in central Indiana to more than 2
weeks in southwest Indiana. Flooding affected numerous river roads
and extensive agricultural lands and a few residential areas.
Rainfall of 3 to 7 inches had fallen across central and southern
Indiana from Tuesday night through Friday morning. The heaviest
rainfall was in southern Indiana.
Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...
Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river
conditions.
