.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
TODAY. PRECEDING THIS FRONT...AN EXTENSIVE PLUME OF DEEP MOISTURE
WILL BRING LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE REGION. ACROSS THE
EASTERN HALF OF THE STATE...THE FRONT WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN 8
TO 12 HOUR PERIOD OF RAIN. ISOLATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS AND WIND
GUSTS OVER 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE
THREAT OF ANY RIVER AND STREAM FLOODING REMAINS ON THE LOW
SIDE...BUT MINOR FLOODING PROBLEMS ARE POSSIBLE IN POOR DRAINAGE
AREAS...CONSIDERING THAT OVER 2 INCHES OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE IN
SPOTS.
