  MAHONING COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OHIO...

* UNTIL 600 AM EDT TUESDAY.

* AT 1036 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING INTO THE
  WARNED AREA. RAINFALL RATES ARE BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES PER HOUR. THIS 
  TORRENTIAL RATE WILL CAUSE FLOODING TO OCCUR RAPIDLY. EVEN AFTER 
  THE STORMS COME TO AN END THE RUNOFF WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE
  OVERNIGHT.

MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL IS BEGINNING TO TAPER ACROSS MAHONING 
COUNTY AS THE HEAVIER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SPREAD INTO WESTERN 
PENNSYLVANIA. WHILE THE RAIN MAY BE COMING TO AN END...FLASH 
FLOODING IS STILL POSSIBLE DUE TO RUNOFF FROM EARLIER STORMS. RADAR 
ESTIMATES SUGGEST 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN FELL OVER A VERY SHORT 2 TO 
3 HOUR WINDOW. LOW LYING AREAS...RIVERS...AND CREEKS WILL BE 
ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE AS THIS RUNOFF MAKES ITS WAY INTO RIVERS AND 
STREAMS AS IT WORKS DOWNSTREAM.
