THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CLEVELAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  PORTAGE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OHIO...
  TRUMBULL COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OHIO...

* UNTIL 600 AM EDT TUESDAY.

* AT 1018 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE
  WARNED AREA. RAINFALL RATES AROUND 2 INCHES PER HOUR WERE OVERWHELMING
  STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEMS. STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL LIKELY FILL AND 
  OVERRUN THEIR BANKS. EVEN AFTER THE STORMS END THE RUNOFF WILL
  CONTINUE OVERNIGHT.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR TRUMBULL AND PORTAGE
COUNTIES UNTIL 600 AM EDT...

THE THUNDERSTORMS THAT BROUGHT HEAVY RAINFALL AND LOCALIZED 
FLOODING TO THE AREA HAVE MOVE EAST.  RUNOFF HOWEVER WAS STILL 
CAUSING LOCAL STREAMS AND RIVERS TO RISE. ADDITIONAL FLOODING 
THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT REMAINS POSSIBLE AS THIS RUNOFF FINDS ITS WAY 
INTO THE RIVERS AND STREAMS ACROSS THE AREA.   

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN! BE ALERT FOR LOW
SPOTS...DIPS...AND UNDERPASSES WHICH MAY BE FLOODED. PEOPLE IN LOW
LYING AREAS ALONG CREEKS AND STREAMS SHOULD MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO
ESCAPE RISING WATER LEVELS.

OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND
