MASSACHUSETTS...AND NORTHWESTERN PROVIDENCE COUNTY IN RHODE ISLAND...

AT 1027 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING
A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM NEAR WILLINGTON TO
NEAR EASTFORD TO NEAR BROOKLYN...AND WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.

TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM WITH ESTIMATED
RAINFALL RATES UP TO ONE-INCH PER HOUR. MINOR URBAN AND POOR
DRAINAGE FLOODING IS POSSIBLE. DO NOT DRIVE THROUGH FLOODED ROADS!

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS
STORM. FOR YOUR SAFETY...SEEK SHELTER OR THE SAFETY OF A CAR.
