THE MISSOURI BOOTHEEL...NORTH MISSISSIPPI...AND WEST TENNESSEE.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE ENTIRE
MID SOUTH TODAY AND TONIGHT. A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
ARE POSSIBLE THIS MORNING WITH HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS AS THE
PREDOMINANT SEVERE WEATHER THREATS. A GREATER THREAT FOR SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS IS EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT AS A
STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVES INTO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY.
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER
THREATS ALONG WITH A SECONDARY POTENTIAL FOR PERHAPS A TORNADO.
LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.
