NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL WILL
CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING. MORE THAN FOUR INCHES OF RAIN FELL EARLY THIS MORNING
ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA PIEDMONT...AND ANY
ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL COULD POSE A THREAT FOR FLASH FLOODING.
THIS AREA WILL BE CLOSELY MONITORED FOR A POSSIBLE FLASH FLOOD
WATCH THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON. IN ADDITION TO THE FLOODING THREAT...A
