AREAS AFFECTED...SRN OK...SWRN AR...NRN TX

CONCERNING...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 377...

VALID 120429Z - 120530Z

THE SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 377
CONTINUES.

SUMMARY...NUMEROUS SHOWERS/THUNDERSTORMS ARE DEVELOPING ACROSS SRN
OK/RED RIVER REGION OF TX. MCS SHOULD SPREAD ESEWD INTO THE
EARLY-MID MORNING HOURS.

DISCUSSION...COMPLEX ARRAY OF TSTMS HAS EVOLVED ALONG THE RED RIVER.
MUCH OF THIS ACTIVITY DEVELOPED WITHIN INTENSE CORRIDOR OF HEATING
NEAR THE SFC WIND SHIFT OVER NWRN TX BUT NUMEROUS LEFT SPLITS AND
INCREASING WARM ADVECTION HAS DISPLACED THE CONVECTIVE COMPLEX INTO
SRN OK. SIGNIFICANT OUTFLOW IS RACING NWD ACROSS SWRN OK AND THIS
MAY AID IN FURTHER DEVELOPMENT. GIVEN THE AREAL EXPANSION OBSERVED
OVER THE LAST HOUR IT APPEARS AN MCS MAY BE EVOLVING THAT WITH TIME
SHOULD BEGIN TO TURN/SPREAD ESEWD TOWARD THE ARKLATEX. ASIDE FROM
ISOLATED LARGE HAIL HEAVY RAIN WILL BE THE GREATEST THREAT WITH
THESE DEVELOPMENT STORMS.
