HEAVY RAIN EXTENDING FROM FROM NORTHEAST RANDOLPH AND ALAMANCE
COUNTIES NORTHEAST ACROSS ORANGE... PERSON... DURHAM... AND
GRANVILLE COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35
MPH. THIS LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
MOVE NORTHEAST AND AFFECT MANY AREAS FROM BURLINGTON AND
HILLSBOROUGH TO ROXBORO... BUTNER... FALLS LAKE... DURHAM...
OXFORD... AND HENDERSON.
HAZARDS INCLUDE...
HEAVY RAINFALL AND MINOR FLOODING.
THESE STORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH WILL CAUSE MINOR
FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS INCLUDING DITCHES...CREEKS...ROADWAYS AND
AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE. AVOID THESE AREAS AND DO NOT CROSS FLOODED
