.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER THE
MOUNTAINS AND SPREAD ACROSS THE FOOTHILLS AND PIEDMONT THIS
AFTERNOON. A FEW OF THE STORMS WILL BECOME SEVERE AND PRODUCE
LOCALIZED AREAS OF DAMAGING WIND. FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING AND SMALL HAIL WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE STRONGER STORMS.
THE BEST CHANCE FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL BE ACROSS WESTERN NORTH
CAROLINA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE WESTERN CAROLINAS
AGAIN ON TUESDAY. SOME OF THE THUNDERSTORMS MAY ONCE AGAIN BECOME
SEVERE AND PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS OF 58 MPH OR GREATER AND LARGE
HAIL. A MORE ORGANIZED LINE OF STORMS COULD AFFECT WESTERN NORTH
CAROLINA SOME TIME DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
