THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL
ILLINOIS...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EAST
CENTRAL IOWA...NORTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST
MISSOURI.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED TO WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS
AFTERNOON. SOME STORMS COULD BE SEVERE WITH HAIL UP TO THE SIZE
OF PING PONG BALLS AND WIND GUSTS OVER 60 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

WEDNESDAY...THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK FOR SEVERE STORMS MAINLY NORTH
OF INTERSTATE 80. THE MAIN SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL BE DAMAGING
WINDS OVER 60 MPH FROM THUNDERSTORMS IN THE AFTERNOON THROUGH
EVENING HOURS. A FEW STORMS MAY ALSO BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL
UP TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER.

THE THREAT OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH DAMAGING WIND WILL
CONTINUE...AND EXPAND OVER MOST OF THE OUTLOOK AREA FROM WEDNESDAY
NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY AS A SLOW MOVING FRONT LINGERS OVER THE
REGION.

HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THUNDERSTORMS FROM WEDNESDAY
THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT. THIS MAY RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING IN AREAS
AFFECTED BY RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL. THIS RISK WILL INITIALLY BE
GREATEST NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80.

VERY WARM AND HUMID CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY. HEAT INDEX VALUES MAY REACH OVER 100 DEGREES IN THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS...AND HEAT ADVISORIES MAY BE NEEDED.
