A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING ACROSS THE FAR SOUTHEASTERN COLORADO PLAINS. HAIL UP TO THE
SIZE OF PING PONG BALLS...WIND GUSTS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH AT
TIMES...HAZARDOUS CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING...LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND
EVEN AN ISOLATED TORNADO WILL BE THE PRIMARY HAZARDS WITH ANY SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP LATER TODAY.

ALSO...A RED FLAG WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR FIRE WEATHER ZONE
224...WHICH INCLUDES THE SAN LUIS VALLEY...FROM 12 PM UNTIL 9 PM
TODAY. THIS RED FLAG WARNING IS FOR GUSTY WINDS...LOW
HUMIDITIES...HIGH HAINES INDICES...AND EXISTING DRY FUELS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ALONG THE COLORADO AND
KANSAS BORDER THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK.
