AREAS AFFECTED...TX SOUTH PLAINS

CONCERNING...SEVERE POTENTIAL...WATCH POSSIBLE

VALID 091100Z - 091200Z

LOW LEVEL WARM ADVECTION IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE MARKEDLY OVER THE
NEXT FEW HOURS ACROSS THE TX SOUTH PLAINS AS LLJ STRENGTHENS IN
ADVANCE OF UPPER TROUGH. THIS PROCESS APPEARS TO BE WELL UNDER WAY
AS NUMEROUS SHOWERS...AND NOW ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS...HAVE
DEVELOPED FROM SERN NM INTO MUCH OF WRN TX. BOUNDARY LAYER REMAINS
QUITE COOL AND THIS ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP IN AN ELEVATED
FASHION...ROOTED MOST LIKELY NEAR 800 MB. MUCAPE SHOULD INCREASE
BEYOND 1000 J/KG AS MOISTURE RETURNS JUST OFF THE SFC. HAIL SHOULD
BECOME COMMON WITH STRONGER UPDRAFTS AND A FEW STORMS WILL LIKELY
PRODUCE SEVERE HAIL. WW MAY BE REQUIRED IN THE NEXT HOUR OR SO.
