CONVECTIVE TRENDS ARE BEING MONITORED FOR A POSSIBLE WW. LATE THIS MORNING A SURFACE FRONT PARTIALLY ENHANCED BY CONVECTIVE OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES EXTENDS FROM ERN OK SWWD THROUGH N CNTRL TX... THEN FARTHER SW INTO SWRN TX. THE MOST UNSTABLE AIRMASS REMAINS S OF THE FRONT WHERE STRONGER SURFACE HEATING HAS CONTRIBUTED TO MLCAPE FROM 1500 TO 2000 J/KG. MUCAPE IS LESS N OF THE FRONT WHERE THE BOUNDARY LAYER IS COOLER. HOWEVER...RECENT SURFACE DATA SHOW BREAKS DEVELOPING IN LOW CLOUDS AND SUGGESTS THE BOUNDARY LAYER SHOULD CONTINUE TO DESTABILIZE N OF THE FRONT. SEVERE THREAT WITH LINE OF STORMS ACROSS WRN INTO SWRN TX IS EXPECTED TO PERSIST AS THE DOWNSTREAM ATMOSPHERE DESTABILIZES.
