.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A LARGE AREA OF SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER ARKANSAS
WILL GRADUALLY SHIFT TO THE EAST...AND SHOULD MOVE EAST OF THE STATE
BY EARLY THIS EVENING. CHANCES FOR ANY SEVERE WEATHER ARE LOW.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE LIKELY TO BE IN THE RANGE OF 3/4 INCH TO 2
INCHES.

A NEW LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS IS LIKELY TO ENTER WESTERN ARKANSAS THIS
AFTERNOON. THIS LINE WILL MOVE TOWARD THE EAST...AND SHOULD EXIT
EASTERN ARKANSAS TOWARD MIDNIGHT. SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE POSSIBLE
WITH THIS LINE. THE MAIN THREATS WILL BE LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING
WINDS. AN ISOLATED TORNADO OR TWO CANNOT BE RULED OUT... ESPECIALLY
IN WESTERN ARKANSAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR THIS EVENING.

A LAKE WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM. SOUTH TO SOUTHEAST
WINDS WILL GUST TO AROUND 30 MPH AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

ISOLATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE EASTERN HALF
OF ARKANSAS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY EVENING.

CHANCES FOR SEVERE WEATHER IN ARKANSAS ARE LIKELY TO INCREASE AGAIN
ON MONDAY. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE MONDAY AFTERNOON
AND EVENING...AND MAY CONTINUE ON INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
