THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  KANDIYOHI COUNTY IN CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 500 AM CDT

* AT 153 AM CDT...RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY
  RAIN ACROSS NORTHERN KANDIYOHI COUNTY. THE STORMS PRODUCING THE
  HEAVIEST RAIN WERE NEAR SUNBURG AND NEW LONDON. RAINFALL ESTIMATES 
  IN THE LAST 3 HOURS ARE RANGING FROM 2 TO 4 INCHES ACROSS THE      
  NORTHERN PORTION OF THE COUNTY.  THESE STORMS WERE NEARLY          
  STATIONARY.

  EXPECT ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS TO REDEVELOP AND PASS OVER THE
  WARNED AREA... RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED INCLUDE...PENNOCK...REGAL...
  SPICER...SUNBURG AND HAWICK.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNED AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO
FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
