THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DOUGLAS COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 1215 AM CDT

* AT 1012 PM CDT...RADAR DETECTED THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY       
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS MUCH OF THE WARNED AREA. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT AS 
  MUCH AS 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER MUCH OF DOUGLAS COUNTY    
  OVER THE PAST HOUR.

  EXPECT ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS TO REDEVELOP AND PASS OVER THE
  WARNED AREA... RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED INCLUDE...ALEXANDRIA...        
  CARLOS...FORADA...MILTONA...NELSON...BELLE RIVER AND HOLMES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO

DOUGLAS COUNTY...

AT 1121 PM CDT...ESTIMATES FROM RADAR AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS 
INDICATED THAT IN EXCESS OF 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN DURING THE 
PAST TWO TO THREE HOURS OVER THE WARNED AREA. SINCE 11 PM...THE 
STORMS THAT CAUSED THE FLOODING HAVE PUSHED SOUTH AND EAST OF THE 
COUNTY...WHICH WILL BRING AN END TO THE FLOODING BY 1215 AM.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED INCLUDE...ALEXANDRIA AND FORADA.
