* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  REEVES COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 930 PM CDT

* AT 624 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED
  WIDESPREAD RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MAINLY THE NORTHERN HALF
  OF THE COUNTY...NORTH OF INTERSTATE 20. THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAD FALLEN
  AT RATES IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES PER HOUR ALONG FARM TO MARKET ROAD  
  2119...25 MILES NORTHWEST OF PECOS SINCE 4 PM CDT. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL 
  WILL RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING.

MOST FLOODING DEATHS ARE PREVENTABLE...AND MANY OCCUR WHEN MOTORISTS

AT 718 PM CDT...LOCAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED WATER 
CROSSING PORTIONS OF FARM TO MARKET ROAD 2119 22 MILES WEST OF 
PECOS. MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY RAINFALL CONTINUES OVER 
NORTHERN REEVES COUNTY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
