SOUTHWESTERLY MID-LEVEL JET STREAK IS GRADUALLY BEGINNING TO LIFT
OUT OF EASTERN NEW MEXICO INTO THE TEXAS PANHANDLE.  ASSOCIATED
CENTER OF CYCLONIC VORTICITY IS READILY EVIDENT IN REGIONAL RADAR
LOOPS OVER EASTERN NEW MEXICO...WITH NARROW WEAK BAND OF CONVECTION
DEVELOPING ON LEADING EDGE OF STRONGER MID-LEVEL FORCING.

CURRENTLY WEST/SOUTHWEST OF THE DALHART TX AND CLOVIS NM
AREAS...THIS FORCING WILL SHIFT NORTHEASTWARD ACROSS THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON.  IN RESPONSE...INCREASING LIFT
ALONG 850 MB FRONTAL ZONE...CURVING FROM NEAR GAGE OK THROUGH THE
CHILDRESS TX VICINITY INTO AREAS NEAR/SOUTHEAST OF LUBBOCK...LIKELY
WILL SUPPORT INTENSIFYING CONVECTIVE DEVELOPMENT.  THIS ACTIVITY
WILL BE BASED ABOVE COLD STABLE SURFACE LAYER...BUT WITH CAPE OF 500
