* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CAMERON COUNTY IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS
  WILLACY COUNTY IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS

* UNTIL 100 AM CDT

* AT 950 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING INTO COASTAL AREAS
  OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED FROM 1 TO 2 INCHES
  OF RAINFALL EACH HOUR ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS...WITH
  THE POSSIBILITY OF ISOLATED AMOUNTS NEAR 3 INCHES.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING
  INCLUDE...PORT MANSFIELD...RAYMONDVILLE...PORT ISABEL...SAN
  BENITO...LA FERIA...HARLINGEN...BROWNSVILLE...LYFORD...SOUTH PADRE
  ISLAND...SEBASTIAN...SANTA ROSA AND RIO HONDO.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS 
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING. REMEMBER...WHEN 
CONFRONTED WITH WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.

COUNTIES HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO EXPIRE...

DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN 
RATES HAD MOVED OFFSHORE. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE FOR A 
COUPLE MORE HOURS...BUT HEAVY RAIN HAS ENDED OVER THE WARNED AREA. 
IF FLOODING HAS BEEN OBSERVED...PLEASE REPORT IT TO YOUR LOCAL LAW 
ENFORCEMENT AGENCY.
