AS CLOSED LOW LIFTS OUT OF THE CENTRAL GULF STATES INTO THE SOUTH CENTRAL APPALACHIANS...TIGHTENING LOW-LEVEL THERMAL GRADIENT AND ASSOCIATED FRONTOGENETIC FORCING HAS CONTRIBUTED TO NORTHWARD DEVELOPMENT OF PRECIPITATION BAND ACROSS THE OHIO VALLEY.
