EAST CENTRAL IRON COUNTY IN UTAH * UNTIL 1030 PM MDT * AT 728 PM MDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER PARAGONAH...AND 4 MILES EAST OF PAROWAN. FLASH FLOODING WILL CONTINUE ON THE PAROWAN CREEK AND BOWERY CREEK FROM YANKEE MEADOW RESERVOIR DOWN TO PAROWAN. MUD AND ROCK SLIDES HAVE CLOSED STATE ROUTE 143. FLASH FLOODING IS ALSO EXPECTED ON RED CREEK THROUGH PARAGONAH. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF OTHER SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
