.SYNOPSIS...AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OFF THE CA COAST WILL
WILL MOVE NE AND CROSS THE AREA TUE NIGHT. THE LOW WILL SPREAD MOIST
AND UNSTABLE AIR ACROSS THE REGION AS IT CROSSES.  ONSHORE FLOW
WILL INCREASE AS THE LOW PASSES BY SPREADING IN COOLER MARINE AIR
TUE AND WED.  ANOTHER LOW WILL DROP DOWN TO OFF THE WA COAST THU AND
FRI.

.SHORT TERM...SATELLITE DERIVED STABILITY INDICES INDICATING UNSTABLE
AIR MASS HAS SPREAD INTO OREGON CASCADES THIS AFTERNOON...MUCH LIKE
MORNING MODEL RUNS INDICATED.  WATER VAPOR SHOWS THE UPPER LOW MOVING
NE TO NEAR 38N 127W...SPREADING MID AND HIGH LEVEL MOISTURE N AHEAD
OF IT.  WILL STICK WITH SAME GENERAL IDEA OF SPREADING CHANCES FOR
CONVECTION N TONIGHT INTO TUE...AND WILL TEND TO BUMP UP POPS A BIT
MOST AREAS FOR TONIGHT AND TUE.  AXIS OF THE VORT LOBE STILL CROSSING
CASCADES AT 12Z WED MUCH LIKE PREVIOUS RUNS...SO WILL NEED TO KEEP A
SLIGHT CHANCE POP THERE WED MORNING.  BELIEVE GFS MAY BE A BIT
AGGRESSIVE WITH MARINE PUSH TUE AHEAD OF THE SHORT WAVE...BUT STILL
ENOUGH CLOUDS SPREADING UP WITH THE UPPER LOW TO KNOCK SEVERAL
DEGREES OFF HIGH TEMPS FROM TODAY.

.LONG TERM...MODELS IN DECENT AGREEMENT KEEPING A TROUGH JUST OFF THE
COAST THROUGH MOST OF EXTENDED.  MAIN PRECIPITATION CHANCES APPEAR TO
BE THU-FRI AND AGAIN MON.  MODELS CONTINUE TO ROTATE A VORT MAX
AROUND THE LOW BRUSHING AGAINST THE NW PART OF THE FORECAST AREA THU
INTO EARLY FRI.  WILL KEEP A CHANCE OF SHOWERS GOING IN THE NW AND
OVER THE NORTHERN CASCADES THU...AND RUN A SLIGHT CHANCE ALONG THE
COAST INTO FRI.  GFS ROTATES ANOTHER SHORTWAVE DOWN INTO BASE OF
TROUGH BY MON PUSHING THE MAIN TROUGH AXIS CLOSER TO COAST.  ALTHOUGH
ENSEMBLES AT THIS RANGE PREDICTABLY SHOWING A LITTLE CHAOS...CANADIAN
OPERATIONAL RUN APPEARS TO SUPPORT THIS IDEA...SO WILL ADD A
BROADBRUSHED CHANCE OF SHOWERS TO MON.
