THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN HALE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST TEXAS
  NORTHERN LUBBOCK COUNTY IN NORTHWEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT

* AT 448 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM SHALLOWATER   
  NORTHEAST TO ABERNATHY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 MPH. THE STORMS    
  CONTINUE TO DEVELOP OVER AREAS WHERE HEAVY RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED.
  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF UP TO 2 TO 3 INCHES WILL ADD TO 
  FLOODING CONDITIONS THAT HAVE BEEN REPORTED ACROSS NORTHERN        
  LUBBOCK COUNTY AND SOUTHERN HALE COUNTY.
 
* LOCATIONS IN AND NEAR THE WARNING INCLUDE PETERSBURG...COTTON      
  CENTER...ABERNATHY...SHALLOWATER AND REESE CENTER

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
