THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  RICE COUNTY IN CENTRAL KANSAS

* UNTIL NOON CDT

* AT 645 AM CDT...RICE COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED FLASH FLOODING        
  CONTINUING ACROSS MOST OF THE SOUTHEAST FOURTH OF THE COUNTY WHERE 
  MANY ROADS REMAIN BARRICADED.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  STERLING...SILICA...RAYMOND...LYONS...LITTLE RIVER

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM EARLIER THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE 
FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...ROADS AND 
AREAS WITH POOR DRAINAGE.

TWO FEET OF RUSHING WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST VEHICLES, INCLUDING
