SOUTHEAST TEXAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HOUSTON/GALVESTON TX 243 PM CDT MON JUL 8 2002 AS SUSPECTED...THE AIRMASS OVER SE TX HAS REMAINED ON THE STABLE SIDE FOR THE BETTER PART OF THE DAY. ANOTHER ROUND OF PCPN OVER- NIGHT STILL IN THE WORKS AS A COUPLE OF S/WS APPROACH THE REGION. ONE DISTURBANCE APPEARS TO BE HEADING DOWN FROM THE NE VIA TN/MS AND THE OTHER ONE WILL BE TAKING THE FAMILIAR NRN GULF ROUTE. AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW AFTN THE LEADING EDGE OF THE DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE WAVE IN THE WCTL GULF WILL HAVE AL- READY MOVED INTO SE TX.
