AS SUSPECTED...THE AIRMASS OVER SE TX HAS REMAINED ON THE STABLE
SIDE FOR THE BETTER PART OF THE DAY. ANOTHER ROUND OF PCPN OVER-
NIGHT STILL IN THE WORKS AS A COUPLE OF S/WS APPROACH THE REGION.
ONE DISTURBANCE APPEARS TO BE HEADING DOWN FROM THE NE VIA TN/MS
AND THE OTHER ONE WILL BE TAKING THE FAMILIAR NRN GULF ROUTE. AS
WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW AFTN THE LEADING EDGE OF THE DEEP TROPICAL
MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH THE WAVE IN THE WCTL GULF WILL HAVE AL-
READY MOVED INTO SE TX. THIS COMBINED WITH THE INCREASINGLY SELY
LOW-LEVEL FLOW (I.E. MORE SEABREEZE FRIENDLY) AND AN ALREADY UN-
STABLE AIRMASS SHOULD MAKE FOR A MORE ACTIVE AFTN TOMORROW AS WE
APPROACH PEAK HEATING. THE ORIGINAL THINKING OF A DRY/HOT LATTER
HALF THE WEEK HAS BEEN ADJUSTED. EXTENDED MODELS HAVE NUDGED THE
STRONG UPPER RIDGE OVER THE WRN U.S. JUST A TAD MORE TO THE WEST.
THIS CLOSER PROXIMITY TO THE UPPER TROF AXIS AND THE PRESENCE OF
A NEARLY STATIONARY SFC FRONT ACROSS THE CWA HAS BEEN ENOUGH IN-
CENTIVE TO INCLUDE SOME LOW POPS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. 41/45
