THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LEAGUE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN BRAZORIA COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS
  SOUTHERN GALVESTON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS

* UNTIL 800 AM CDT

* AT 540 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE MODERATE TO    
  HEAVY RAINFALL OVER BRAZORIA COUNTY AND OVER GALVESTON ISLAND. 
  GALVESTON ISLAND HAS RECEIVED CLOSE TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN SINCE      
  MIDNIGHT AND FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED BY THE MEDIA ALONG         
  BROADWAY. PORTIONS OF BRAZORIA COUNTY HAVE ALSO RECEIVED VERY      
  HEAVY RAINFALL SINCE MIDNIGHT WITH RADAR ESTIMATES BETWEEN 4 AND 6 
  INCHES.       

* FLOODING IS EXPECTED IN OR NEAR...
  SAN LUIS PASS...GALVESTON...JAMAICA BEACH TEXAS CITY...FREEPORT
