CWA. AREA REMAINS UNSTABLE BUT WITH A LACK OF ANY STRONG TRIGGERS
FOR CONVECTION. EXPECT WEAK UPSLOPE FLOW TO BE ENOUGH FOR AT LEAST
SCT AFTN-EVE CONVECTION. DUE TO WEAK STEERING WINDS THERE WILL BE

ANOTHER HOT AND HUMID AFTERNOON WILL RESULT IN A VERY UNSTABLE
AIRMASS ACROSS THE WESTERN CAROLINAS AND NORTHEAST GEORGIA.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP BY MID
AFTERNOON ACROSS THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF SOUTHWEST NORTH CAROLINA. THE
DEGREE OF INSTABILITY EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON INDICATES THAT THESE
STORMS WILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME SEVERE...PRODUCING HAIL AS
LARGE AS QUARTERS AND WIND GUSTS TO 70 MPH.

AS THE AFTERNOON PROGRESSES...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS THE PIEDMONT AND FOOTHILLS. THE POTENTIAL
