THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  PEMBINA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND
  WALSH COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.

* UNTIL 345 PM CDT.

* AT 740 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED       
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO MOVE OVER MOST OF WALSH  
  AND PEMBINA COUNTIES...MOVEMENT WAS TO THE EAST AT 35 MPH.

* GRAFTON...PARK RIVER...MINTO...DRAYTON AND CAVALIER WILL BE        
  AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. DOPPLER RAINFALL ESTIMATES OF UP TO 
  2 INCHES HAVE BEEN OBSERVED SINCE 6 AM. A BAND OF THUNDERSTORMS
  TO THE WEST IS PROJECTED TO TRACK OVER THIS AREA THROUGH 11 AM.
  AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 3 INCHES OF LOCALIZED RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE 
  WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS. PERSONS LIVING NEAR RIVERS IN PEMBINA AND
  WALSH COUNTIES SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR RIVER LEVELS. 

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
