* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  GRAND FORKS COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.

* UNTIL 800 AM CDT.

* AT 153 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO MOVE ALONG A LINE
  EXTENDING FROM 3 MILES NORTHEAST OF ARVILLA TO 19 MILES SOUTH OF
  NORTHWOOD...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 17 MILES WEST OF GRAND
  FORKS TO 34 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GRAND FORKS...MOVEMENT WAS TO THE
  SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* GRAND FORKS...THOMPSON...NORTHWOOD...LARIMORE AND ORR WILL BE      
  AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. THE GRAND FORKS COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE
  REPORTED THAT PONDING OF WATER WAS BEGINNING TO OCCUR ON CITY 
  STREETS IN GRAND FORKS. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO 
  CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS. 

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
