THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  TRAVIS
  BASTROP
  FAYETTE

* UNTIL NOON CDT

* AT 720 AM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED MODERATE TO 
HEAVY RAIN MOVING NORTH INTO TRAVIS...BASTROP AND FAYETTE 
COUNTIES.   

MANY STREETS AND ROADS ACROSS TRAVIS..BASTROP AND  COUNTY WILL BE 
VERY DANGEROUS THE NEXT FEW HOURS. MOTORISTS SHOULD AVOID LOW WATER 
CROSSINGS AND LOW LYING AREAS.  VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER 
SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

PEDESTRIANS IN CREEK CHANNEL WALKWAYS AND UNDER BRIDGES SHOULD BE 
AWARE THAT WATER CAN RISE VERY QUICKLY...POSSIBLY TRAPPING THEM. 

LIVESTOCK AND EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM FLOOD PRONE AREAS. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID
CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
