THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS EXTENDED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  COMAL
  GUADALUPE
  GONZALES
  BEXAR
  WILSON
  DEWITT
  KARNES

* UNTIL 12 NOON CDT

* AT 650 AM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
  FROM SAN ANTONIO TO KARNES CITY AND NEW BRAUNFELS TO CUERO.
  SHOWERS CONTINUE TO REDEVELOP OVER THE AREA WITH RAINFALL RATES UP 
TO 5 INCHES AN HOUR.

THIS IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION.  TRAVEL IS HIGHLY DISCOURAGED.
MANY SECONDARY ROADS ARE FLOODED.  RUNOFF WILL CAUSE ADDITIONAL 
FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND 
UNDERPASSES. COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS 
AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS WILL FLOOD.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
