THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS EXTENDED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  BURNET
  BLANCO
  KENDALL
  COMAL
  BEXAR

* UNTIL 830 AM CDT

* AT 300 AM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
  OVER AND DEVELOPING NEAR SAN ANTONIO KENDALIA, JOHNSON CITY AND 
BURNET...MOVING NORTH AT 10 MPH.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CONTINUE THE FLASH FLOODING OF 
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.  THIS IS A 
DANGEROUS SITUATION. COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF 
CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS WILL FLOOD.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
