THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
DEWITT
* UNTIL 300 PM CDT
* AT 1112 AM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
RAIN 5 MILES NORTH OF YORKTOWN...OR ABOUT 12 MILES WEST OF CUERO...
MOVING NORTHWEST AT 25 MPH. RAINFALL RATES ARE ESTIMATED AT 2
INCHES AN HOUR BETWEEN YORKTOWN AND CUERO. THE GROUND IS ALREADY
SATURATED FROM PREVIOUS RAINS AND ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RESULT
IN RAPID RUNOFF CAUSING CREEKS AND STREAMS TO RISE RAPIDLY.
