* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LA SALLE COUNTY IN TEXAS
  EXTREME NORTHWESTERN MCMULLEN COUNTY IN TEXAS

* UNTIL 1000 AM CDT

* AT 720 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  FLOODING RAINS NEAR COTULLA.  RAINFALL TOTALS OF 3 TO 4 INCHES ARE
  POSSIBLE ACROSS THE NORTHERN PORTION OF THE COUNTY. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR LASALLE COUNTY
UNTIL 10 AM...

AT 915 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE
RAIN HAS ENDED OVER MCMULLEN COUNTY...THEREFORE THE FLASH
FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN CANCELED THERE.  HOWEVER MODERATE TO HEAVY
RAIN WILL CONTINUE OVER NORTHERN LASALLE COUNTY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS
OF 1/2 TO 1 1/2 INCHES PER HOUR CAN BE EXPECTED FROM THESE SHOWERS AS
THEY MOVE SLOWLY NORTH AT 5 MPH.  THE RAIN WILL LIKELY CONTINUE UNTIL
NOON OVER NORTHERN LASALLE COUNTY...AND THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING MAY
NEED TO BE EXTENDED.

LOCALIZED FLOODING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MIDDAY. IF YOU MUST TRAVEL
TODAY...DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY. MOST DEATHS OCCUR FROM THIS ACTION.
