NORTHEASTERN FRANKLIN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS * UNTIL 200 AM CDT * AT 113 AM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 6 MILES NORTHWEST OF CASS...MOVING SOUTH AT 15 MPH. * SOME LOCATIONS NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM INCLUDE...WIEDERKEHR VILLAGE...CASS AND OZARK. EASTERN OKLAHOMA/NORTHWEST ARKANSAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK 935 PM CDT THU JUL 12 2001 COLD FRONT IS SLOWLY SAGGING SOUTH ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND EXTENDS FROM NEAR JAY TO STILLWATER AT 9 PM. THIS FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ONLY VERY SLOWLY SOUTH OVERNIGHT AND WILL NOT MAKE IT THROUGH THE ENTIRE AREA UNTIL DURING THE DAY FRIDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE BEGINNING TO DEVELOP ACROSS ARKANSAS AND FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI AND SHOULD BUILD WEST WITH TIME INTO NORTHWEST ARKANSAS AND PARTS OF NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AS WEAK NOCTURNAL LOW LEVEL JET SETS UP AND ENHANCES LIFT NORTH OF THE SURFACE BOUNDARY AND ALONG THE 850 MILLIBAR BOUNDARY.
