TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   SOUTHWEST IOWA                               
   CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST KANSAS                             
   NORTHWEST MISSOURI                           
   SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA                           

EFFECTIVE THIS THURSDAY MORNING FROM MIDNIGHT CDT UNTIL 500 AM CDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO 80 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 65 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM 55 MILES SOUTH OF RUSSELL KANSAS TO 50 MILES EAST
NORTHEAST OF OMAHA NEBRASKA.

THUNDERSTORMS POTENTIAL WILL CONTINUE FOR ISOLATED TORNADIC
SUPERCELLS.  PRIMARY SEVERE WILL TRANSITION INTO DAMAGING WINDS AND
