THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN CHRISTIAN COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI
  NORTHERN TANEY COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 1000 PM CDT

* AT 644 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 6 MILES NORTH OF            
  TANEYVILLE...OR 16 MILES NORTHEAST OF BRANSON...MOVING WEST AT 5   
  MPH. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER 
  THE LAST 1 TO 2 HOURS FROM NEAR AND JUST EAST OF GARRISON TO NEAR  
  TANEYVILLE. LOW WATER CROSSING WERE FLOODED AND IMPASSABLE         
  BETWEEN TANEYVILLE AND BRADLEYVILLE.
  
* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE 
  WARNED AREA. AN ADDTIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE   
  IN THE WARNING AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL      
  CONTINUE TO CAUSE RAPID RUNOFF AND FLASH FLOODING TO OCCUR.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. 
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
