THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN JASPER COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI
  SOUTHEASTERN BARTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 930 PM CDT

* AT 735 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL HAVE MOVED OVER SOUTHERN    
  BARTON AND NORTHERN JASPER COUNTIES. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED UP TO 
  THREE INCHES OF RAIN PER HOUR HAVE FALLEN FROM LAMAR TO CARYTOWN.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO   
  OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING          
  INCLUDE...BOSTON...SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF LAMAR...JASPER AND 
CARYTOWN.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE 
UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS 
SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
