UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL AFFECT THE REGION THIS AFTERNOON AND
TONIGHT. WILL HAVE TO UPDATE ZFP TO TAKE OUT MORNING SUNSHINE AND
MAY HAVE TO ADJUST TEMPS DOWN A CATEGORY DUE TO INCREASING CLOUD
COVER.

...A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT..

ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA
TODAY AND TONIGHT. THIS DISTURBANCE WILL BE AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
THAT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE AREA EARLY TUESDAY MORNING. THESE
CONDITIONS WILL CAUSE THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP AND SOME OF THE
THUNDERSTORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE.

THE AREA OF MOST CONCERN IS SOUTH OF A LINE FROM NEAR RODANTHE ON THE
OUTER BANKS TO NEAR LAGRANGE IN LENOIR COUNTY. THE MAIN THREAT WITH
THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER AND WINDS IN
EXCESS OF 58 MPH.

PEOPLE IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA ARE ADVISED TO STAY ALERT FOR RAPIDLY
CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY. LISTEN TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO OR YOUR
