THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  UPTON COUNTY IN WEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 400 PM CST

* AT 1207 PM CST...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING ACROSS MUCH OF UPTON COUNTY. AT 1210 PM
  CST DOPPLER RADAR HAD INDICATED THAT TWO TO FOUR INCHES OF 
  RAIN HAD ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS OPEN COUNTRY OF NORTHERN AND
  WESTERN UPTON COUNTY. THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE
  INTO AND DEVELOP ACROSS UPTON COUNTY THROUGH 2 PM CST.
  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF ONE TO THREE INCHES PER HOUR WILL LIKELY 
  CAUSE FLASH FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL INUNDATE ROADS AND FARM AND RANCH LAND. DO NOT
DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS NEVER ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOWING WATER
IN A CAR OR ON FOOT.
