SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LAKE CHARLES LA 215 PM CDT WED JUN 27 2001 AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER SOUTHERN MO IS SLOWLY RETROGRADING SOUTHWEST AND WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE A NORTHWEST FLOW ABOVE 15 THSD FEET IN SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS. THE LCH SOUNDING SHOWS A PRECIP WATER OF 1.74 AND A CAPE OF 2362. THIS WILL CONTINUE TOMORROW AND FRIDAY CAUSING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ONCE AGAIN...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE SEA BREEZE FRONT.
