* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CATAHOULA PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
  CONCORDIA PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
  CLAIBORNE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI
  JEFFERSON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI
  ADAMS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 900 AM CST

* AT 633 AM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT 
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN...ARE MOVING REPEATEDLY FROM 
NEAR JONESVILLE TO NATCHEZ TO FAYETTE AND PORT GIBSON. OBSERVATIONS 
AND RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE RAINFALL RATES OF 2 INCHES PER HOUR 
WITH THESE STORMS. AS SOILS SATURATE...RUN-OFF WILL INCREASE AND 
PRODUCE FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS AND SMALL CREEKS. THE HEAVY 
RAINFALL WILL PERSIST UNTIL MID MORNING.

MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
