AFTERNOON. KHGX SHOWS ISOLATED TSRA ALONG THE SEA BREEZE...ISOLATED
SHRA NEAR LAKE LIVINGSTON...AND SCT TSRA IN THE FAR NERN CWA. EXPECT
SHRA/TSRA TO CONTINUE DEVELOPING AS THE CAP ERODES...BUT AREAL
COVERAGE WILL PROBABLY NOT BE AS EXTENSIVE AS EARLIER THOUGHT.

THE MAIN FORECAST ISSUE IS POPS. THE 12Z NCEP MODELS ARE IN FAIR TO
GOOD AGREEMENT. NO PREFERENCE SINCE HANDLING CUTOFF LOWS IS TOUGH
FOR HUMAN OR MACHINE. NO BIG CHANGES IN THE FORECAST...MAINLY
DIURNAL CHANCE POPS IN MOST PERIODS...TEMPS NEAR CLIMO. BEST CHANCE
FOR A WASHOUT APPEARS TO BE SAT/SUN AS THE UPPER LOW CENTER IS
CLOSEST AND PWS INCREASE TO 1.8 TO 2.1 INCHES.
